About Me
Hi, I’m Leo Joseph David Ridgwell.
My motto is “Creativity and Possibilities with Technology.”
In my spare time, I enjoy working on mini projects and exploring the latest trends in tech through videos and online content.
Currently working as a Technical Graduate at CGI
My Life Story
I built my first PC at the age of five, which sparked a lifelong passion for technology. Initially, I planned to go straight into the workforce after college, earning top marks (D*/D*/D*) before starting my career in Cyber Security. Over 2.5 years, I gained valuable industry experience in data protection, user monitoring, and security compliance.
This hands-on exposure inspired me to pursue higher education, and I went on to complete a BSc in Computer Science at Coventry University, graduating with a 2:1.
I’m now working as a Technical Graduate at CGI, where I apply my skills in software development, cybersecurity, and geospatial data. I continue to build on my experience by contributing to large-scale projects, including those in aviation and railway connectivity, while collaborating with diverse teams and refining my technical and professional abilities.

My 3 Steps Approach
1: Organise
When starting a new task, my first step is always to organise everything clearly. This gives me a solid understanding of the work ahead and helps me identify areas I might need clarification on. Being organised early on allows me to stay on track and deliver better results.
2: Focus
With Asperger’s and ADHD, getting started can be a challenge—but once I lock in, I enter a state of hyperfocus. This lets me produce high-quality work with great attention to detail. While perfectionism can be a challenge, I’ve learned to prioritise effectively—like during a university bot project where I had to let go of some features due to time limits.
3: Complete
I always aim to complete tasks to the highest standard, aligned with the expectations of the business. Delivering work that meets both internal and client standards is key to maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
