My Experience
I have a broad range of skills and experience gained through work placements, college and university studies, as well as personal projects and self-learning in my free time. Regardless of the source, each experience has contributed to my growth and development.
A little bit about me
My passion for technology began at the age of five when I took apart and rebuilt my first PC. I’ve always seen computers as giant Lego sets — components that just need to fit together in the right way. As I got older, that interest only grew stronger. I spent countless hours watching tech videos and teaching myself how computers work, diving into both hardware and software. My first programming language was Java, which sparked my enthusiasm for development. From there, I expanded my skills, learning PHP, HTML, CSS, and eventually Python and TypeScript, and built my first website. Technology quickly became more than a hobby — it became a core part of who I am and how I think about the world.
At 13, I completed my first work experience placement, which sparked a strong interest in both technology and business. After finishing school, I went on to college, achieving top grades (D*/D*/D*), and then began my career in the Cyber Security industry. I spent 2.5 years gaining hands-on experience in data protection and security practices. This inspired me to pursue higher education, and I graduated with a 2:1 in BSc Computer Science from Coventry University. I went on to work as a Software Engineer at CGI for over two years, contributing to enterprise projects and completing a Go course, before joining DRE Digital as a Software Engineer II. I am now looking for my next opportunity.

I worked as a Software Engineer at CGI, maintaining and improving large-scale backend systems where reliability, correctness, and data integrity under load were non-negotiable.
