My Experience

I have a wide variety of experience and skills. Whether this be work experience, or just experience from college and university or just skills and experience I have accumulated in my free time, it’s all still experience.

A little bit about me

I have always been interested in technology. Back when I was 5 years old, I took apart my old PC and rebuilt it. I like to think of computers as giant Lego pieces. They just have to fit together in a certain order. As I grew older, my love for technology just got stronger. I was constantly looking up technology based videos and learning as much as I can. It was so interesting seeing how computers worked, learning about programming. My first ever language I learnt was Java. And from there, it only got better.

At the age of 13, I had my first ever work experience placement and I really enjoyed that week. I learnt so much about technology and business. After finishing school, I went onto to college to get a D*/D*/D* and than decided to get a job in Cyber Security. After working in that industry for 2.5 years, I decided to look into university and in 2023, I graduated with a 2:1 from a BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree at Coventry University. I am currently working as a Junior Software Engineer at CGI.

I had to analyze a lot of data every day, so I had to manage my time accordingly. I also had to work heavily within a team and so I had to often lead the team, help others out and be led by other members of the team. I also had to professionally communicate with clients.
