My Experience
I have a broad range of skills and experience gained through work placements, college and university studies, as well as personal projects and self-learning in my free time. Regardless of the source, each experience has contributed to my growth and development.
A little bit about me
My passion for technology began at the age of five when I took apart and rebuilt my first PC. I’ve always seen computers as giant Lego sets—components that just need to fit together in the right way. As I got older, that interest only grew stronger. I spent countless hours watching tech videos and teaching myself how computers work, diving into both hardware and software. My first programming language was Java, which sparked my enthusiasm for development. From there, I expanded my skills, learning PHP, HTML, and CSS, and eventually built my first website. Technology quickly became more than a hobby—it became a core part of who I am.
At 13, I completed my first work experience placement, which sparked a strong interest in both technology and business. After finishing school, I went on to college, achieving top grades (D*/D*/D*), and then began my career in the Cyber Security industry. I spent 2.5 years gaining hands-on experience in data protection and security practices. This inspired me to pursue higher education, and I enrolled in university to deepen my technical knowledge. After three years of study, I graduated with a 2:1 (Upper Second Class Honours) in BSc Computer Science. I’m now continuing my journey in tech as a Technical Graduate at CGI, applying and expanding my skills in a real-world setting.

Web Developer
In Summer 2021, I worked as a Web Developer for Partners with Industry through the Employ Autism initiative by Ambitious About Autism. I rebuilt the website from scratch, customizing a Bootstrap theme, adding a Dark Mode toggle, and implementing a clean, user-friendly link system. Although the company closed in 2023, an archive of the site remains available here. More details about the Employ Autism initiative can be found online here.

Triage Analyst
I safeguarded confidential client data by monitoring user activity and reporting unauthorized data transfers. This involved daily analysis of large datasets, requiring strong time management and teamwork. I often took on leadership roles, supported colleagues, and adapted to direction when needed. Clear, professional communication with clients was essential to maintain data integrity and ensure timely resolution of issues, making this role both collaborative and detail-oriented.
