Leo JD Ridgwell

Motto: Creativity and Possibilities with technology

I recently graduated from Coventry University with an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Computer Science and am currently working as a Technical Graduate at CGI.

I’ve always been fascinated by the inner workings of electronic devices, which inspired me to pursue programming and computing at a higher education level.

Now, I’m building upon my existing skillset in a professional technology environment, contributing my knowledge of computing and cybersecurity to meaningful projects and solutions.

Online, I’m more commonly known as “StuxieDev”.

My Experience

Working in the Cyber Security Industry for 2.5 yrs & as a System Administrator / Web Developer

Over the course of 2.5 years in the Cyber Security industry, I gained valuable hands-on experience and developed essential workplace skills. This role, which was part of an apprenticeship and my first professional position, involved extensive training sessions that expanded my knowledge of cybersecurity practices and the broader IT landscape.

Prior to this, I completed various work experiences across multiple roles, including System Administrator, Web Developer, Customer Support, and Technical Support. These opportunities also deepened my interest in the internal workings of electronic devices and systems.

I am currently building on this foundation as a Technical Graduate at CGI, where I continue to develop my technical skillset and contribute to impactful projects.

Web Developer

In Summer 2021, I worked as a Web Developer for Partners with Industry through the Employ Autism initiative by Ambitious About Autism. As part of this role, I rebuilt the entire website from the ground up—customizing a Bootstrap theme, implementing a Dark Mode toggle, and creating a user-friendly pretty link system. Although Partners with Industry ceased operations in 2023, an archive of the website is still available here. More information about the Employ Autism initiative can be found here.

InteliSecure Ltd.

Triage Analyst

I was responsible for safeguarding confidential client data by monitoring user activity and identifying instances where data was transmitted to unauthorized destinations. This role required daily analysis of large volumes of data, strong time management skills, and close collaboration within a team environment. I regularly took on leadership responsibilities, supported team members, and adapted to guidance from others when needed. Clear and professional communication with clients was also essential to ensure data integrity and timely issue resolution.
